Pregnancy Stats:
- Weeks pregnant: 12 weeks 4 days
- Size of our baby: a plum (2.1 inches, .49 oz)
- My weight: 118 lbs ( i have gained 8 lbs so far!!)--believe it or not people
- Emotionally: i think the mood swings are getting better, but you would have to ask my husband just in case ;) i mean, before we knew i was pregnant (and this is when we should have known) we got into an argument over rice. white rice to be exact. i wont even go into details on this one, but totally my fault... I have also been having some crazy detailed dreams about some weird stuff...for example, i witnessed several murders the other night and woke up in a panic thinking the killer was coming after me. weird.
- Physically: i am SOOOO tired!! but most of the sickness has gone away(knock on wood) but i am exhausted constantly. i get off work, cook dinner, eat, and fall asleep on the couch...sometimes in the middle of Richard talking to me. oops! but its when i actually go to get in the bed that i have trouble staying asleep...and i hear this only gets worse as you get more uncomfortable..and big.
- Fun Stuff: getting to eat as much as i want and not feel guilty about it, although this baby has been wanting all kinds of healthy treats which has been awesome! we just had our second checkup last week with the doc and she said everything looked/sounded great! heartbeat was right on track :) now we just have to wait to see if its a boy or girl! and the fact that i have to make a decision for another human being is totally stressing me out---picking out a name for our baby has to be the hardest thing i have ever done, ha. i am hoping when we find out if its a boy or girl, that will help us a little..
- Cravings: well, the first one was rice...white rice. which then turned into fried rice within 2 minutes. which then turned into an argument :) but since then: onion rings--but only if they had a comeback dressing to accompany them. and more recently i have been crazing fresh fruit like crazy..especially oranges, pineapple, and strawberries...oooh, and fresh veggies...carrots, broccoli, and celery are my friend :) also, there is fried chicken. any kind of fried chicken at that.
